Who is on the list
I am using Dating on Campus (September 10, 2026) as the count. It names Hana Satō, Eli Ivers, Cormac Fitzroy, Pip Marin, Leif Blomgren and Evadne Gladwin. Kiara Chandra arrived on the release post as the seventh revealed covenmate. The homepage shows seven portraits plus four “coming soon”, which matches eleven. The release post does not itself say “date Kiara”, so that seventh seat is a structural inference.
All Things How's September 11 summary separately reports eleven romance options and the six names then revealed. Its older reveal count should not be used to erase Kiara's later introduction. The current homepage is the single official source for seven named portraits and four hidden slots. No complete gift list is published in the reviewed sources.
How a date is described
The developer describes post-office cards for asking someone out, going steady and breaking up. Relationship-building includes conversation and gifts; a date involves choosing two activities. The official post and independent summary describe more than 200 contextual conversation spots, feedback when you take your date home, and sleepovers after going steady. These are announced mechanics, not a tested route guide.
Relationship gates differ. Some covenmates open up quickly and some need more time. The post does not say whether romance is limited by the player character’s gender. Express Yourself says clothing, hair and facial hair are not locked to a gender. That is a creator note, not a dating rule, so I am not writing “anyone can date anyone”.
What is not in the post
Marriage, children and a complete best-gift chart are not confirmed in the reviewed posts. That is a gap in the announcements, not proof that those features can never exist. Four homepage covenmate slots are still unrevealed. Character-specific romance routes and gender restrictions should remain unconfirmed until a public source describes them.

Eleven, according to the September 10, 2026 official dating post and All Things How’s independent summary. Six are explicitly named there; Kiara is a later covenmate reveal whose romance status is inferred from the homepage structure.
Do I have to date anyone?
No. The same post says you can stay friends and still follow character stories.
Can two players date the same person?
The official post says players can compete for the same covenmate’s affection until someone goes steady. It does not promise that two players can both have a committed relationship with that character.
