Sources for the short answers
The official release announcement and MonsterVine report support the date, price and platform answers; MonsterVine and the publisher's GamesPress release report Game Pass. The official blog and that newswire share one publisher and are not two independent sources.

Spelling
The official spelling is Witchbrook. Single-store localized title data from Steam: Witchbrook（ウィッチブルック）, Witchbrook（위치브룩）, and 巫奇魔法学院 Witchbrook. The Chinese title also appears on TapTap. Unofficial translations should not replace the store titles.
Languages
The fact sheet, Steam and Nintendo list ten languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The Xbox page badge said “8 Supported languages” while the same page’s description listed ten. I follow the fact sheet and note the badge mismatch. Polish is not in that list; the Polish Steam description was still English when I checked.
Open items
Not established in the reviewed sources: regional prices, physical edition price and contents, PS5/Xbox file sizes, full recommended PC specs, a Steam Deck compatibility verdict, a complete crossplay matrix and cross-store saves.
Rating evidence differs: Xbox displays Teen and Suggestive Themes; Nintendo displays Suggestive Themes, which is a content descriptor, not an age category. PlayStation displays an online-interactions-not-rated notice. The ESRB title search returned zero results on October 29, 2026. A missing search result neither invalidates a store label nor proves an official rating does not exist.

How much does Witchbrook cost?
$24.99 digital in the announcement. Regional prices and store checkout prices were not up on October 29, 2026.
Which platforms?
Steam on Windows, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Is there local co-op?
No. Online co-op goes up to four. See the multiplayer page for the store wording.
Is Witchbrook cancelled or a scam?
No cancellation was found in the official announcements: the publisher has a January 28, 2027 plan and official store listings. That establishes an active announced project, not a guarantee of launch quality or the safety of third-party sellers.
Is Witchbrook on Game Pass?
The publisher’s GamesPress release and MonsterVine report day-one Xbox Game Pass. Subscription tiers and PC Game Pass inclusion are not specified in those sources. See the price page for the evidence.
Is there crossplay or cross-save?
Xbox alone lists cross-platform capabilities with PC and Xbox consoles. Steam-to-Xbox, PS5/Switch participation and cross-store save transfer are not established. Cloud-save badges do not settle cross-save.
Is there a demo or Early Access?
No public demo or Early Access offer was found in the reviewed official listings. Developer posts describe internal tests; that is not an authorized public download.
Is there a Mac or mobile version?
No native Mac build is announced; Steam lists Windows only. TapTap has Android/iOS reservation tabs, but its developer note describes Steam and consoles. A mobile release date remains unconfirmed.
How big is Witchbrook on Switch?
Nintendo alone estimates 1.2 GB for each Switch edition. Steam’s 2 GB figure is available Windows storage, not a measured download size. See the system requirements page.
Can you play as a boy?
The official Express Yourself post says hairstyles, clothes and facial hair are not gender-locked. This is one developer description, not evidence for every identity option or dating rule.
Will there be a physical edition?
The official release post and GamesRadar+ report Standard and Collector’s Editions planned after the digital release. Physical prices, dates, platforms and contents remain unspecified.
How do you spell it?
Witchbrook, one word, no final e. Witchbrooke, Witchbrookk and Witch Brook are misspellings of the same game.
