What the PlayStation page actually shows
Witchbrook is announced for PS5 on January 28, 2027, alongside the PC and other console versions. The official announcement, MonsterVine's report and PlayStation concept 10016633 support the date and platform.
PlayStation alone supplies these product details: Announced / Add to Wishlist, 1 player, up to 4 online players with PS Plus, and Remote Play. Its US page displayed no price on October 29, 2026. Remote Play is streaming from a console, not evidence of local co-op.
File size, performance modes and a PS5-specific screenshot set are not on that page. I am leaving them blank rather than guessing from the PC shots below.
PS4 is a different claim
The official platform list includes PS5 but no PS4. The October 28 report from Eurogamer.es, re-read through its public HTML in this check, mentions both PS5 and PS4. This remains a single-media disagreement, not a second confirmed PlayStation product. No PS4 launch date is established here.
Crossplay from a PS5 seat
The PlayStation page does not define crossplay with Xbox, PC or Switch. Xbox alone lists cross-platform capabilities for its PC and console family; that does not establish compatibility with Steam or PS5. No reviewed source promises cross-store save transfer. The Witchbrook blog post is dated October 27, 2026 and calls PS5 a day-one platform. The GamesPress wire and Eurogamer.es are dated October 28, 2026. Both dates stay on the record.
How many people can play Witchbrook on PS5?
The PlayStation concept page says 1 player and 4 online players. It also says PS Plus is required for online play and that Remote Play is supported.
Can I pre-order Witchbrook on PS5?
On October 29, 2026 the page status was Announced, with Add to Wishlist. No price and no pre-order button were showing.
